Pinocchio

NOTICE: If you are new to this blog we encourage you to start from the bottom post and read up. This blog is rather new, so you don't have too much catching up.

This was a very early entry - circa 2001 - by Twisted Sistah. It was actually the very first time a picture was altered. Can you guess what the original drawing was?
Original: When Twisted Sistah first saw the original, unaltered page in the coloring book she thought to herself, "What in the world could prompt that kind of response/expression from Geppetto?" Then it came to her. The only change Twisted Sistah made was to erase part of Pino's hands and then draw in the severed arm of the Blue Fairy. Pino's saccharine-sweet smile and Geppetto's revulsion were what the coloring book artist originally drew.

I think I know what was added. Maybe. Can you have possible changed Geppeto's face?

Strangely enough, Geppetto's face is compeltely unaltered. In fact, his expression was what inspired Twisted Sistah to change what she did.

Sorry, but your guess is wrong and therefore we won't think you are cool. But, was you were the first person to hazard a guess. we'll think you are brave - or at least that you're thinking (and sometimes it takes a great deal of bravery to think).

You changed Pinocchio to look like a real boy.

A good guess, unmighty, but not quite there. While Pinoc spends MOST of the story "knocking on wood," this is the moment when he transforms to a real boy, so the original artist did that.

Here's a hint - the words originally said "Father, look at me."

Geppetto does not look happy that Pinocchio was "in the bathroom... changing."

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?

And also. HAH! I must admit I laughed out loud when I realized how you'd altered the picture.

Twisted Sistah does have skills. Glad to know they make you laugh out loud and not scream out loud - it's a fine line that often gets blurred.

My sister was right. This is an awesome blog. I would love to see more and more of these pictures. I hope everyone can enjoy them as much as I do! Keep it up! :)

And whom, pray tell, is your sage sister, Cathy? We'd like to recognize her for not only her excellent perception and astute blog opinions but also for introducing others to our deranged site.
